All nine tours featured here are selected based on review volume, rating score, and category coverage — we do not favor higher-commission tours.
How the widgets work
Each tour card on the homepage embeds the official GetYourGuide availability widget. When you click through and book, GetYourGuide attributes the booking to our partner ID (GLBKRID) via a cookie. The commission is paid to us by GetYourGuide out of their own margin — your price is identical whether you book through this site or search GetYourGuide directly.
How tours are selected
The nine featured tours were picked from the full Dubrovnik Game of Thrones catalogue on GetYourGuide using three objective criteria — minimum review count (for signal), minimum average rating, and category coverage (three classic walking, three extended full-day, three private). Commission rates played no role in selection.
What we do not do
We don't run paid placements, sponsored posts, or "editor's pick" badges that correspond to higher commission. The tour-card pick labels ("Best seller", "Guide worked on set", etc.) are based on GetYourGuide's public metadata or descriptive facts about the tour — not paid placement.
